Body Behind
Painting is a thread hidden in time. It dug out layers of accumulated things and raised ashes. "The road in front of you" and "The Body Behind You" are quoted from the film "The Grandmaster"( dir. Kar-Wai Wong, 2013). They symbolize the self-awareness that I gradually developed in painting creation. When viewing, one can identify the "path in front of you". However, works vs. creation, artist’s body, viewer’s body, and paintings, these different "bodies" and "bodies" are intertwined at different stages during painting. This is an exhibition about processes and trying to find coordinates, if you wish to know what things will look like after passing through me.
身後身
畫畫是藏在時間裡的線頭。一抽起來， 又翻出層疊麻麻積累的東西， 揚起了灰。
『眼前路』與『身後身』從《一代宗師》引來用。暫不論電影台詞怎麼說， 他倆標誌了我所逐漸萌生出來， 屬於繪畫創作的自我意識。觀看時辨識『眼前路』， 作品與創作、創作與研究、繪者身體與繪畫、觀者身體與繪畫,這些不同的『身』 與『 身』，是繪畫經驗裡彼此交錯的時間階段。這是一個關於過程的展覽， 並欲找出座標。若想知道經過我， 事物會生成什麼樣子。
